A Fine Balance
- Supreetha Gubbala (University of New Mexico)
Abstract
When I return home after traveling for a long period, I often turn to my favorite books to reorient myself; to feel at home again. This piece is about an unusual, coming-together of traveling as an Indian woman, how it has forced me to face the incongruences in my identity and the first novel that my father gave me.
